Philippians 1:1-18

In this message, we dive into Philippians 1, where Paul shifts the Philippians’ perspective from his chains to Christ’s work through the advance of the gospel. This passage challenges us not to view suffering and setbacks as interruptions to God’s purposes, but as opportunities to see the gospel move forward. We also see that when the good news of Jesus is at work in our lives, our desire for Christ to be known and proclaimed grows, something we’ll see clearly in the Apostle Paul.

Brad Lytle will also be sharing about a church-planting effort in the northern city of Flin Flon, MB, that his family, along with two other families, will be stepping into. They are seeking to be sent out from their home church, Emmanuel Baptist Church in Nipawin, SK, to plant Redeemer Baptist Church in Flin Flon in the summer of 2027.
