PART 1:  Viewing Your Schedule

Your personalized, volunteer schedule can be found in your Church Community Builder account. (Need an account?)

1.  Login to CCB

2.  Go to the 'Serve' tab

  • The 'Serve' tab can be found on the lefthand side menu.
  • This tab is labeled with a heart icon.
  • Tip: You can expand the menu by clicking on the Menu icon in the top-left corner.

3.  Go to the 'My Schedule' tab

4.  View your personalized schedule

  • You can view your volunteer schedule here.
  • If you're unable to serve a scheduled shift, please find a replacement for yourself and contact our office with any changes.
  • Schedules may change from time to time, so please check back occasionally.

Part 2:  Booking Time Off

If you're aware of certain days you're unable to serve, you can easily request to not be scheduled for those particular days. We will do our best to accommodate!

Note: This feature only pertains to shifts you haven't been scheduled yet. If you've already been scheduled for a shift that you're now unable to serve in, please find a replacement (see Part 3 below).

1.  Login to CCB

2.  Go to the 'Serve' tab

  • The 'Serve' tab can be found on the lefthand side menu.
  • This tab is labeled with a heart icon.
  • Note: You can expand the menu by click on the Menu icon in the top-left corner.

3.  Go to the 'My Schedule' tab

4.  Click on the 'Set Block Out Dates' button

5.  Click on the dates you're unavailable

  • Either click or highlight a group of dates that you're unavailable.
  • To undo and mark as available again, simply click on the date.
  • All changes are automatically saved for you.

PART 3:  FINDING A REPLACEMENT

If you're unable to serve a scheduled shift, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. You can easily do this through CCB. You can see who is available, send someone an automated request, and be notified by email whether they accepted or declined your request.

4.  Click on the 'Find a Replacement' button next to the appropriate shift

5.  Select a person and click 'Confirm'

  • Only available people will be shown from the list.
  • The selected person will automatically be sent an email from you. They can either click 'Accept' or 'Decline'.
  • Please give the person enough time to respond. Don't wait until Saturday night to find a replacement.
  • While you're waiting for their response, you're still responsible for the shift.

6.  Wait for a notification by email

  • Once the selected person either accepts or declines your request, you will be notified by email (or simply check back on CCB on the latest status).
  • If they accept your shift, the schedule will automatically be updated to reflect the change. (We encourage you to thank them and offer to take one of their shifts in return. Invite them to repeat this process in their CCB account.)
  • If they decline your shift, the schedule will remain unchanged. You can now either repeat this process with a new person or serve the shift yourself.
